Meryl specialises in drawing and received her BA (Hons) in illustration and printmaking at Exeter School of Art and Design. She then went on to do an MA at Wimbledon School of Art.
After numerous successful exhibitions across Britain, and as far away as New Zealand, she founded the Rabley Contemporary Drawing Centre in 2004. She also devised and co-ordinated the Higher National Diploma in Drawing
She currently curates and co-ordinates exhibitions at the Rabley Drawing Centre as well as tutoring the students.
This year's open studio includes an exhibition by six artists that draws from mythology, fact, history and the subconscious to create new visual narratives, from telephone doodles to representations of the darker side of humanity.

Directions
Take the A346 to Marlborough. Coming into the town you descend a hill (Herd St.) Turn left at The Green into St. Martins (signed for Ramsbury, Axford, Mildenhall) Take this road out of Marlborough and just after the edge of the town you will see some white railings. Turn left after the railings, go under the railway bridge and continue for nearly a mile. The Centre is on your right opposite two red brick cottages.

The car park is at the bottom of the drive.
