Existence, fear, religion, the afterlife and death are just some of the themes that Scott examines within his work. He uses painting and drawing styles as a means to produce metaphors on these themes.
He is very interested in the progression of video games and technology in our lives, but also the possibilities these can potentially produce such as 'an atom-accurate digital simulation of the universe; reality becomes computer game, computer game becomes reality'.
Scott doesn't wish for people to seek clear or specific meanings in his work, but rather to use 'their own feelings and instinct to produce meaning for themselves'.
