Tim works in a wide variety of media, including oil, acrylic and watercolour, as well as producing glazed ceramics. He has been studying art since his schooldays and received a BA in Fine Art from Leeds University in 1981.
His work is largely figurative and he is currently working on a series of paintings and reliefs based on The Seven Deadly Sins which will be exhibited in The Art Centre from 11th July '06.
Although Tim's chief aim is to produce ambitious figure paintings, he also works from observation, and as well as producing a large number of landscapes of the town and country, he has made a series of travel sketches based on his journeys through India and Italy.
He is a past winner of The Oexmann Painting Award and has sold his work from galleries throughout the country. He is also developing a portrait painting business and is accepting commissions.
